Customer name remains confidential. The project is approved for public technical and application reference.

Project Background

A compact control solution for complex box orders

The equipment is a bottom-printing die-cutting and stacking collection line for corrugated packaging production. Its application scope includes complex die-cut boxes, machine-pack boxes and pre-printed box orders, with a process designed to support one-point multi-die-cutting workflows.

The line combines die-cutting and stacking collection in one modular production concept. Its operating targets include precise counting, intelligent operation, safe and efficient production, continuous paper feeding and bundle output without reducing speed.

Motion Control Scope

Siemens multi-axis synchronization

The control architecture uses Siemens multi-axis motion modules together with S220 multi-axis motion-control drives and PID algorithms to coordinate synchronized die-cutting motion. The PLC is Siemens S7-1516T and the HMI platform is Siemens.

Machine-side outcomes

Vacuum stacking, clean waste removal, modular stacking modes and stable continuous feeding support different packaging orders.

Operator-side outcomes

The line is designed around precise counting, intelligent operation and a two-to-three-person operating team.

VectorTech Delivery

Electrical design through FAT

VectorTech Controls was responsible for electrical design, control-cabinet manufacturing, wiring, commissioning and FAT. The work advanced the electrical design on the basis of the original equipment, with a more compact layout, a more reasonable safety circuit and remote diagnostics.

The public case does not disclose the customer name. The project country is Brazil, and the reference is shared to demonstrate practical multi-axis motion, machine safety, HMI and control-panel integration for corrugated equipment.
