Case 07 / Corrugated Packaging Equipment
Bottom-Printing Die-Cutting & Stacking Collection Line
Electrical and motion-control engineering for a corrugated packaging line serving complex die-cut box, machine-pack box and pre-printed box orders in Brazil.

Equipment
Bottom-printing die-cutting and stacking collection line
Control Platform
Siemens S7-1516T PLC, HMI and multi-axis motion control
Engineering Scope
Electrical design, cabinet build, wiring, commissioning and FAT
Machine Characteristics
Designed for high-mix packaging orders
- 01Precise counting, intelligent operation, safe production and efficient line handling.
- 02Configurable double-sided printing, mature bottom-printing die-cutting and clean waste removal.
- 03Suitable for complex die-cut boxes, machine-pack boxes and pre-printed box orders, including one-point multi-die-cutting workflows.
- 04Vacuum stacking, continuous paper feeding, bundle output without speed reduction and modular stacking combinations.
- 05Designed for a two-to-three-person operating team to support labor reduction and productivity improvement.
Control Architecture
Synchronized motion for die-cutting
The multi-axis architecture uses Siemens multi-axis motion modules with S220 multi-axis motion-control drives and PID algorithms for synchronized die-cutting motion.
VectorTech Scope
From electrical concept to FAT
VectorTech Controls was responsible for the electrical design, control-cabinet manufacturing, wiring, commissioning and factory acceptance testing for the line.
The project was an updated electrical solution based on the original equipment. The redesign focused on a more compact and rational layout, a more practical safety circuit and remote diagnostics for future support.
Compact electrical layout
A more reasonable cabinet arrangement for the machine-control scope.
Improved safety circuit
Safety logic refined as part of the updated electrical design solution.
Remote diagnostics
Remote diagnostic capability included in the public project scope.
